Yamaha FZ-09 MT-09 Rear Frame Sliders 2017-2020
Our rear frame sliders fit on the engine mount point just behind the cylinder head on the engine, as seen in the picture below of the area circled in red. A frame slider at this point will help protect the frame of the bike and possibly the fuel tank, depending on the type of crash. Unfortunately, the rear position frame slider mounting point is close to the area where a rider's knees are, so the knees of taller riders (over 5'- 11") could contact the frame sliders under certain riding conditions. Most of our customers buy the front and rear sliders, and we have heard no concerns regarding the rear sliders fitment. However, please take this into consideration before ordering the rear sliders as our return policy does not allow the trying out of frame sliders.
