​2020-2024 Suzuki Katana Frame Sliders Installation

WARNING: The installation of all parts in these installation instructions must be performed by a qualified motorcycle mechanic who is using the correct tools and who understands the correct use of all tools required to complete the installation.

Tools you will need:
* Torque wrench
* Ratchet and short extension
* 8mm hex driver


1. Start on the right (brake lever) side of the bike by removing the engine mount screw (red arrow in the photo) using a 8mm hex driver and ratchet. Remove only one side at a time.

2. Install the frame slider with the longer base and supplied screw/washer using the 8mm hex driver with the ratchet and short extension. Tighten the screw to the factory torque specification (same as factory screw).​ ​​ WARNING: THE WASHER MUST BE ON THE SCREW BEFORE INSTALLING THE SLIDERS
3. After the first side is tightened, repeat steps 1-2 for the other side.
