(Custom work means that you contact us and say something like, "Yeah, I need a slider that is 8 inches long for my 1975 Honda. How fast can you get some made for me? I have all the specs.")
- If you do not see your bike year/model listed for any given part that means we do not sell that part for your model.
(If your bike and the part that you want is not listed on this site, that means we do not make a part for your bike.)
- We do not try to match up a part from a model listed to a model for which we do not sell parts (considered custom work).
(See line one)
- We do not offer specifications for frame sliders other than the measurement of the working length of the slider. Working length includes only the part of the frame slider that extends past the frame of the bike. Any part of the slider that extends into the frame of the bike, such as a turn-down or base, is not part of the working length since it is insignificant in terms of protection of the bike.
Why we do not offer custom work:
Custom work includes ANY work that goes outside of our normal production procedures or orders that are modified in a way as to be different than what we would normally ship. Parts that are designed for one model and applied to another or modified to fit differently than what we originally designed them for misrepresents the item and fitment. This means that if a potential customer sees your bike on the street with a part that has been modified and likes the item, as viewed on the street, then purchases the part and receives the unmodified part, the customer will be confused, which could ultimately lead to a return or negative review of the part.
Any request for custom work, as defined in this section, will simply be a waste of our time and yours.
Any request for custom work, slider set modifications, or questions with a "what if I did this and put that there" tone will result in order cancellation whether that order is pending or not even placed yet. We are 100% firm on the fact that we DO NOT want our parts used or installed in a way other than the way we designed them. The sliders are intended for use as protection for the bike and not the rider. The sliders are NOT intended to be used as highway pegs, tie-down points for transport, lifting points, or anything other than protection for the bike.
