WARNING: The installation of all parts in these installation instructions must be performed by a qualified motorcycle mechanic who is using the correct tools and who understands the correct use of all tools required to complete the installation.

Frame Sliders
Tools you will need:
Ratchet- 3/8 or ½” drive
Long extension
12mm socket
8mm Allen/hex driver
Torque wrench
Install one side at a time- do not remove both engine screws together.
Left side:
1. Locate the left engine mount screw (12mm head) that runs through the frame and into the engine. The screw
head is visible through the large opening in the side fairing. The fairing does not need to be removed to access
the screw. Remove the screw with your 12mm socket and ratchet.
2. Remove the pre-installed slider from its bracket.
Notice: Two washers are shipped on the left side slider offset bracket screw. One is to be installed
beneath the offset bracket (between the bracket and frame), and the other is used with the bracket
screw.
3. Install the bracket with the correct screw and washer. Tighten the screw only slightly, so the bracket can be moved
and adjusted by hand.
4. Position the bracket in a way which will allow the slider to be mounted without contacting the fairing.
5. Final tighten the bracket screw. Using a torque wrench, tighten to the factory specified amount of torque.
6. Install the slider using the remaining screw. This specific screw must have one lock washer and one flat washer on it. Medium strength (blue) Loctite is required on the slider-to-bracket screw. Tighten to 25-30 ft/lbs using a torque wrench.
Right Side:
The fairing does not need to be removed for access.
1. Locate and remove the factory engine mount screw (shiny 12mm head)- it is visible from the side of the bike.
Warning: DO NOT remove the conical shaped aluminum spacer or spacer base from the frame. If either spacer
comes out when the engine mount screw is removed, be sure to reinstall before attaching the frame slider. The
spacers are critical part of the engine mount and problems will occur if they are omitted.
2. NOTICE: THE SUPPLIED SCREW MUST HAVE A WASHER ON IT. ENSURE THAT THE WASHER IS ON THE SCREW BEFORE THE SCREW IS USED TO ATTACH THE SLIDER. The right side slider can now be installed with the supplied screw and washer.
Thread the screw in by hand the first few turns making sure not to cross-thread it. Tighten to the factory torque specification using a
torque wrench.
Special Notes
* Caution: Do not use high alkaline based detergents to clean the offset bracket. Use of harsh detergents could
cause discoloration of the anodized finish of the bracket.
* You can also order just one side if you have an incident that damages a slider. Please visit our website to
order a replacement slider.

Bar Ends
Tools you will need:
5mm Allen wrench
The bar ends replace the factory bar ends only and will not install on any type of aftermarket bar such as a race clip-on bar set.
1. Remove the existing bar end using the 5mm Allen wrench
2. Add some blue thread locker to the screws supplied with the OES bar ends
3. Install the bar ends using light torque
4. It is critical to confirm that the throttle side bar end does not interfere with the smooth action of the throttle. If any interference is detected check/adjust the handle bar grip for proper positioning on the throttle sleeve.
Fork Sliders
Items/tools needed:
22mm socket
Ratchet
5mm Allen wrench
Blue and red Loctite
Long 1/4" extension, long screwdriver, or any type of metal rod roughly 1/4" in diameter
Our fork sliders are designed to work with the factory axle assembly and do not replace the factory axle or modify the factory axle mounting position. However, the kit does require the removal of a small rubber plug on the inside of the axle and the replacement of the factory axle bolt with our special mounting bolt.
1. Remove the factory axle bolt with your 22mm socket/ratchet. Do not loosen the pinch screws on the forks.
2. Upon inspection, you will notice that the axle is not hollow completely through. The factory axle uses a small rubber plug inserted into the inside of the axle. The plug is there to prevent water from collecting (on sidestand during rain, for example) on the inside of the axle and causing possible corrosion of the axle bolt threads.
The plug needs to be removed and can normally be driven out from the left side of the bike. The plug is offset closer to the right and is easier to get out by driving from the left. You can use a long 1/4" extension or long screwdriver.
3. After plug is out, install and tighten the axle bolt that is supplied with the kit using a torque wrench and factory specified amount of torque. We recommend using regular grease or anti seize grease on the threads of the axle bolt. Just in case, double check that the axle pinch bolts were not loosened.
4. Use red Loctite on the supplied screw for the right side fork slider and attach the slider to the aluminum rod in the kit. The right axle slider has an extended base that is designed to fit into the axle.
5. Add blue Loctite to the threads of the left side fork slider screw and insert through the axle slider. The left side axle slider is cupped in a way that covers the bolt head when installed correctly.
6. Insert the right side axle slider/rod assembly into the right side of the axle and hold firmly in place. If it won't go through, go back to step 2.
7. Add the left side axle slider by inserting the screw through the hole in the axle bolt and tightening onto the connecting rod. Once started, the screw should thread into the rod easily.
8. Use light torque to tighten the screws- if the right side turns you can hold it with another wrench.
Warning! Do not over tighten- the threads in the connecting rod will strip if too much force is used. A new rod can be purchased if the threads are damaged.
Swingarm Spools
The mounting points for the spools are on the bottom side of the swingarm near the rear axle (on each side).
Add blue Loctite to the threads of the screws for the spools and tighten with light torque.
